What is HS-Repairs?

Here at HS-Hire, our service department specialises in the repairs and servicing of a wide range of lighting, sound and distro equipment. In addition to equipment, we also repair and PAT Test cables. As with our hires, all work is completed to the highest standards. Our in-house technicians have over 15 years of experience dealing with the ever growing entertainment industry and its varying range of equipment, both in production and servicing and repairs. Brands such as Martin, Robe, Elation, Chauvet, Ayrton, Clay Paky, Vari-lite and Astera, JBL, Bose, db, L-Acoustics just to name a few.

With our well-equipped and state-of-the-art workshop, we can assess and complete repairs of all natures. As well as general servicing and MOT of your lighting equipment we can PAT test any electrical equipment, both in-house and onsite.

We always aim to keep the repair process as simple as possible by keeping constant contact with our clients throughout the time your equipment is with us. Once your equipment has arrived with us it will be given a full assessment and test so we can get an accurate view of its condition. From there we will diagnose any faults and set out any recommendations of further work needed. If you are happy to continue we will then send you a quotation and breakdown of the work to be completed and any components needed to complete the work. We will also aim to give you an accurate timeframe for which the quoted works will be completed.

If you need us to collect and return your equipment our logistics team will be happy to do so.

We will always advise our customers the cost of repair before proceeding. Our assessment fee is £75.00 for and is not refundable. Assessment prices may vary if we're running a promotion It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure all data has been backed up previous to the repair, HS-Hire is not responsible for any loss of data during either the assessment or repair process. You accept that your device may only be showing certain symptoms of an overriding technical issue and HS-Hire is not responsible for any further faults which occur during or after the repair or assessment. Once collection has been made, any further faults which are unrelated to the original repair will be chargeable. You accept that this repair may void your manufacture warranty.
